Random Ramblings

Good day to all you B's and G's,
I know its been ages since I last posted anything. However, one word pretty much sums it all up -STRESS. Compared to this semester, I think the last academic semester was a breeze, looking at the standard of assignments to be produced, all I can mutter is WOW. Although, it's just awesome that two of the tutors for my reporting course actually used to work for The Financial Times in London and they've migrated down under, how cool is that? Also, there are just so many changes to deal with such as living under the same roof with three other girls, all I can say for now is : GOD HAVE MERCY ON US ALL.

Studying overseas has given me an epiphany, and that is : the idea of university being the most 'happening' period of your life is overrated (Throw those ideas of incessant clubbing and party out of your head). Instead, university should really be a period whereby you grow as a person, to become someone that can deal with challenges in life such as being away from a 'comfort' group of people and handling your own problems in the most mature way possible, I'm still working on that part by the way so no judgement there;)

Amazingly, I feel sleep deprived, although it's probably due to the over-sleeping in singapore, which I try to make up for by drinking coke , which is apparently going to shorten my lifespan by quite a significant amount.I've currently got 8 litres of that wonderful concoction waiting to be drunk. SO people, love me while you can haha oh and I seem to be getting frequent bouts of homesickness and pangs of hunger..hmm I wonder why that is? theories anyone?

random quote of the day : if you are a nurse, NEVER claim to be a doctor. If you are a doctor, best to remain humble lest you accidentally kill someone.

read between the lines people.
